Native Americans in Ohio have endured a significant disconnect in their lives on multiple levels: individually, as families, as a community, as a people, culturally, locally, geographically, mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.  This problem has disproportionately compounded itself over generations due to factors such as invisibility, tokenized initiatives, and lack of interest at the city, county, and state levels.  To offset this inequity, it is imperative that a real investment is made on behalf of the lives of the Native American youth and families living in Ohio – hence the drive behind this fundraising campaign.
